About My Digital Mind

My Digital Mind was created in July of 2002 as a portfolio for all of my graphics (formerlly known as Digital Mind Creations at digital-mind.net).

Now, I showcase mostly my photography and provide resources for other designers, developers and photographers.

About Me

My name is Melissa Mancuso. I'm a 26 year old graphic and web designer in Central New Jersey, USA. I started computer graphics in 1999 as a hobby, then as I got better, I turned it into a profession. The first time I used Adobe Photoshop was in my Photography class during my senior year in High School. Before that, I used Jasc Paint Shop Pro. After high school, I went to a county college to obtain an associates degree in New Media Technology, where I was introduced to the Macromedia Suite; I also recieved a certification in web development. In 2007 I graduated from the Graphic Design and Animation program at the Chubb Institute (now the Anthem Institute) in North Brunswick, New Jersey to put finishing touches on my knowledge. There, I learned more advanced aspects of the Adobe and Macromedia Suites, as well as 3D animation in Discreet 3D Studio Max.

I currently work full time as a Website Curator at Local Wisdom, Inc. in Somerset, New Jersey. On the side I enjoy photography, nature and the outdoors.
